Learning to Chew with Gerber® Lil’ Bits™ Recipes

In one of my previous posts, I talked about how my little one is starting to eat solids (where does the time go – honestly?!) And one of the great products that I found for her are these Gerber® Lil’ Bits™. They are designed to help little ones learn how to chew with soft, mashable  pieces of fruit and vegetables. Plus, they seem to be pretty yummy too!!

What I love about these Lil’ Bits™ is that they are not only perfect for helping my daughter learn to chew (and someday progress to table foods) but they also come in these little re-sealable containers so if they don’t quite finish it up right away, they can continue where they left off later! It’s super easy to throw in the diaper bag and know that if she can’t quite finish, we can seal it up and bring it home (or wherever else we are going!) It makes eating with a little one much more convenient.

I’m a strong believer that it’s important to develop your child’s palate during their developmental years. Gerber® Lil’ Bits™ comes in a wide variety of 10 tasty flavors and textures so that your child can experience and taste a good selection of real foods that they will someday eat at the table with the rest of your family! We were able to try out the Apple Blueberry along with the Sweet Potato Apple Carrots & Cinnamon.

Gerber® put a lot of time into developing their recipes for Lil’ Bits™. They tested 30,000 spoonfuls of different recipes to create the perfect sized bits to help babies learn the skill of chewing.

With as fast as we transitioned into baby food, it’s going to be no time before she is transitioning into eating table foods with us! It’s just around the corner, so before it sneaks up on me, I’m trying to stay ahead of the game with these Lil’ Bits™ recipes.

And when it’s time for her to graduate baby food (I’m told this comes when they have good little grips on things, they may want to feed themselves, they are able to mash and chew/gum food very well, etc.) then I will be a little more confident knowing I set her up for success! :)
