Remineralize Your Teeth with OraWellness
I’ve been making my own toothpaste for years, but recently I was dealing with some tooth pain due to a receding gum line on one of my molars, so I started looking into tooth remineralization.
Tooth remineralization is a process by which your teeth are, well, remineralized! So if you’re dealing with things like decay, cavities, receding gums, etc., it’s actually possible to both halt and even reverse the damage.
(Now would be a good time to mention that I am by no means a practitioner or have any training in oral health. The info I’m sharing is what I’ve learned through my research. I’m sharing what I’ve learned and am leaving it up to you and your practitioners to make the choices that are right for you!).
There are lots of recipes online for making your own remineralizing toothpaste and tooth powder, but I’d heard about OraWellness through Wellness Mama. It sounded like an amazing product that was getting serious results, so I decided to give it a try.
I received my jar of remineralizing tooth powder and began using it as recommended twice a day. After a few weeks of using the powder, I noticed a substantial decrease in the sensitivity around my receding gum. Previously, any kind of liquid that touched the surface of my tooth would be very painful, but after using the powder the pain was almost gone entirely! So in that sense, I was really happy with it.
OraWellness also says that the powder will whiten your teeth, not to the extent of say a whitening strip, but a natural removal of stains. I have to say that I didn’t notice any whitening benefits (I’ve had good success with using activated charcoal to whiten my teeth!), but I was really happy with the effect it had for my tooth pain, so I wasn’t bothered by the lack of whitening.
Another thing I really liked about this company was their passion for sharing information on oral health. A quick look through their site will show you how passionate they are about providing their customers and the general public with the information they need to take control of their oral health. They are not just in business to make money- they are truly sharing information that they believe can make a difference.
If you re dealing with dental issues, I highly recommend checking out OraWellness. And if you have any questions, reach out to them! I found them so friendly and helpful, and it was a pleasure chatting with the team.
