 Barilla® Pronto Pasta

As my kids are growing older my schedule seems to be getting more hectic each day. Between preschool, soccer practice, soccer games, homework, meetings and everything else that gets thrown at me, I seem to be spending less time in the kitchen than before. I remember the days of slaving over a hot stove to ensure my family was getting the proper meal I felt they deserved. Well those days are very few and far between now, so I am so thankful that I stumbled upon Barilla® Pronto Pasta.

This is the perfect way to make your meals more efficient and free up some more time for the many other things on your to-do list. Or maybe it just means having some extra time with the family, which is always a good thing. After grabbing some Barilla® Pronto Penne Pasta at Kroger, I decided to try out Barilla’s recipe and sorta make it my own. I was excited that Barilla® Pronto Pasta is actually available in five delicious shapes at Kroger: Elbows, Rotini, Penne, Spaghetti and Linguine. Of course it varies by store, but options are a wonderful thing! Imagine all of the customized possibilities.

This one-pot meal was exactly what I needed on a day like today. It was ready in no time which helped me out tremendously.

Barilla® Pronto™ Penne with Pepperoni & Cheese

The end result was a One-Pot Penne with Pepperoni & Cheese with a little extra spice. And much to my surprise, there were no leftovers around our table of very picky eaters. They loved how much it reminded them of pizza, which is by far their favorite food.

If you are looking for a super easy dinner idea then grab the recipe below.  It’s simple and quick and calls for less dishes because you don’t have to boil the pasta separately. The Barilla Pronto Pasta allows you to do your cooking all in one pot. SCORE!

The possibilities for Barilla® Pronto Pasta are truly endless. I have found my new favorite grocery item! I am obsessed with food that will save me time in the kitchen, but won’t sacrifice flavor.
